We understand that while working things can come up that will require taking some time away from the job. In such scenarios we expect you to let us know at the earliest possible time for us to arrange a replacement on your schedule.
Excused Absences:
- Such instances where you inform us about taking leave, those instances will be considered Excused Absences.
- You have to inform us at least 2 weeks in advance of the day you’re taking a leave
- These will be unpaid absences and Joy of Cleaning will not reimburse you for the time off
- You will have a maximum of 10 excused absences in a calendar year, and when you reach 7, we will notify you via email and/or message that you’re getting close to surpassing the limit.
Unexcused Absences:
- There might also be scenarios where you’re not able to inform us and take leave without letting us know. We do not want such situations that impact our ability to serve our clients, however, if you do take such “uninformed absences” those will be treated as Unexcused Absences.
- You will have a maximum of 8 unexcused absences in a year
- When you reach 5, we will notify you via email and/or message that you’re getting close to surpassing the limit.
In both cases A & B under “Excused & Unexcused Absences” if you go over the allotted number of absences, you will be relieved of your duties at Joy of Cleaning.
